MEMORANDUM
To: University of Utah Campus Partners and Community Stakeholders
From: Epicenter Administration
Date: September 1, 2025
Subject: Shared-Use Policy and LEED Certification Alignment
The Epicenter is committed to fostering community engagement and amplifying impact by supporting organizations whose missions align with those of the Epicenter, the Sorenson Impact Institute, and the Center for Business Health & Prosperity.
As part of our sustainability efforts and in support of our pursuit of LEED Gold certification, select spaces within the Epicenter are available for public use. These include the Forum, Market, Training Room 1010, and public restrooms located on the first floor. Facilities are available daily from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
The Epicenter reserves the right to approve eligibility for use, apply scheduling restrictions, and evaluate the alignment of proposed uses with its mission on a case-by-case basis. Public organizations seeking access must demonstrate this alignment and agree to the posted terms and conditions that reflect the Epicenter’s values.
To ensure transparency and accessibility, information about reserving shared-use spaces is made available through the University of Utah Epicenter website, newsletters, and other campus-wide communications.
Please direct any inquiries or requests for space usage to the Epicenter administrative office or visit https://epicenter.utah.edu for more details
